Voici les information pour les commémorations du 66ème anniversaire qui auront lieu du 5 au 8 juin prochain en Normandie.

Here are some informations about the 66th aniversary comemorations who will be held in Normandy from June 5th to JUne 8th.

Samedi 5 Juin

Bavent - Carrefour du Mesnil
10h30 : Service du souvenir et dépôt de gerbes au Mémorial de la 3ème brigade parachutiste et au Mémorial du 1er Bataillon Canadien de Parachutistes.

Bures sur Dives
17h15 : Dépôt de gerbes à la stèle du Captain Juckes, Mémorial des Royal Engineers.

Troarn
18h30 : Dépôt de gerbes sur les tombes des soldats du 8ème bataillon inhumés au cimetière.
19h00 : Dépôt de gerbes au Monument aux mort et à la plaque de la 3ème Brigade.
Suivi d'un vin d'honneur offert par la municipalité.

Saturday 5th June

Bavent - Crossroad at "Le Mesnil"
10:30am : Service of rememberance and wreaths laying at 3rd Parachute Brigade and 1st Canadian Para Bn Memorials.

Bures sur Dives
5:15 pm : Wreath laying at Captain Juckes, RE Memorial

Troarn
6:30 pm : Wreath laying at the 8th Bn para's graves in the cemetery.
7:00 pm : Wreath laying at the french War Memorial and 3rd Para Bde plaque.
A vin d'honneur will follow.

Dimanche 6 Juin

Ranville
9h30 : Dépôt de gerbes à la plaque mémoriale du 13ème Bataillon.
10h00 : Messe
11h00 : Service du souvenir et dépôt de gerbes au cimetière militaire.
Suivi d'un vin d'honneur offert par la municipalité.

Banneville la Campagne
16h00 : Dépôt de gerbes au cimetière militaire.

Touffreville
17h00 : Dépôt de gerbes au Mémorial du 8ème Bataillon, à la stèle Platt & Billington et sur la tombe du Cpl O'Sullivan au cimetière.

Sunday 6th June

Ranville
9:30 am :Wreath laying at 13th para Bn Memorial.
10:00 am : Service at church
11:00 am : Service of rememberance and wreath laying at the War Cemetery.

4:00 pm : Wreath laying at the War Cemetery

5:00 pm : Wreath layings at the 8th Bn memorial; at Platt & Billington stele and at Cpl O'Sullivan's grave.

12h00 : Parachutage depuis un C-47 Dakota sur la zone de largage (DZ) K
12h30 : Service du souvenir et dépôt de gerbes au Mémorial de la 3ème Division d'Infanterie

11:00 am : Wreath laying at 4th Special Service Brigade Royal Marine Commandos with 48th Royal Marines Commandos Veterans
12:00 pm : Parachute drop by a C-47 Dakota on DZ "K" (TBC)
12:30 pm : Service and wreaths laying at 3rd British Infantry Division Memorial

Beuzeville
9h30 : Rassemblement et accueil par monsieur le maire à la Mairie.Cérémonies au monument aux morts et sur les tombes britanniques au cimetière. Inauguration de la "Rue du 8ème Bataillon Parachutiste Britannique".

Tuesday 8th June

Beuzeville
9:30am :  Gathering and welcome by the mayor at the City Hall. Wreaths laying at the war memorial and at the graves in the cemetery. Unveiling of the street "Rue du 8ème Bataillon Parachutiste Britannique".
