La nuit des Paras/Night of the Paras

Après le documentaire "Tombés du Ciel" que vous avez certainement eu l'occasion de voir ces dernières années, j'ai eu la chance d'écrire pour les éditions du Triomphe, un éditeur spécialisé dans la bande dessinée historique, un album retraçant la nuit des aéroportés de la 6ème division aéroportée durant la nuit du 5 au 6 juin 1944. "La nuit des paras" est son titre.

After the documentary "Out of the Blue" that some of you have certainly seen during this last years, I had the opportunity to write for Editions du Triomphe, a french publisher specialized in historical comic books, a book telling the night of the airborne forces of the 6th airborne division during the night of the 5th to 6th of june 1944. "The paras' night" is the title.

Le dessin est de l'artiste argentin Gerardo Balsa. Cet album est l'aboutissement d'un an de travail et nous avons travaillé dur pour qu'il soit prêt pour ces commémorations du 66ème anniversaire. Une version anglaise est disponible en plus de la version française.

Art is from argentinian artist Gerardo Balsa. This book is the result of a year of work, and we have worked hard to be ready for the 66th aniversary celebrations. An english version is also available.

Notre ambition avec ce livre était de montrer le chaos qui a régné durant ces premières heures pour les aéroportés britanniques.

Our ambition with this book, was to show how the chaos reign during this few hours of D-Day for the british airbornes.
