Voici les information pour les commémorations du 68ème anniversaire qui auront lieu du 30 mai au 8 juin prochain en Normandie.

Here are some informations about the 68th aniversary comemorations who will be held in Normandy from May 30th to June 8th.

Mercredi 30 mai

Sannerville
13h00 : Service du souvenir et dépôt de gerbes au Mémorial de la 3ème Division d'Infanterie Britannique, avec l'association des vétérans du "Royal Anglian Regiment" (regroupant les Sufolk Rgt, Royal Norfolk Rgt, the Royal Lincolnshire Rgt, ayant combattus dans ce secteur). 5 vétérans dont 2 officiers libérateurs de Sannerville sont attendus.
13h30 : Vin d'honneur et barbecue à la salle des fêtes.

Banneville la Campagne
15h00 : Dépôt de gerbes et visite des familles sur les tombes.

Wednesday 30th may

Sannerville
13.00 : Rememberance service and wreaths laying at the 3rd Inf. Div. Memorial, with the veterans association of the "Royal Anglian Regt" (Sufolk Rgt, Royal Norfolk Rgt, the Royal Lincolnshire Rgt, who fought in the area). 5 vétérans inclunding 2 officers who liberated Sannerville are expected.
13.30 : Vin d'honneur and BBQ barbecue at the salle des fêtes.

Banneville la Campagne
15.00 : Wreaths laying and visit of the families on the graves.

Mardi 5 Juin

Bavent - Carrefour du Mesnil
9h30 : Service du souvenir et dépôt de gerbes au Mémorial de la 3ème brigade parachutiste et au Mémorial du 1er Bataillon Canadien de Parachutistes. Célébration du 70ème anniversaire de la création de la 3ème brigade parachutiste et des 8th et 9th bataillons de parachutistes et du 1st bataillon canadien de paras.

Ranville - Mémorial Pegasus
10h30 : Inauguration du buste du Lt-General Sir Michael Gray, instigateur du musée de Bénouville et président de l'Airborne Assault Trust, décédé l'an dernier.

10h45 : Dépôt de gerbes à la statue du Brigadier James Hill. Célébration du 70ème anniversaire de la création de la 3ème brigade parachutiste et des 8th et 9th bataillons de parachutistes et du 1st bataillon canadien de paras.
11h00 : Passage d'avions au dessus de Pegasus Bridge

Sannerville
12h00 : Barbecue.
14h00 : Aubade par la Musique de la Police du West Yorkshire.

Saint-Vaast en Auge
15h30 : Service à l'église par l'Army Air Corps et cérémonie au cimetière sur les tombes des soldats de la 3rd parachute Brigade. Vin d'honneur.

Troarn
18h30 : Dépôt de gerbes sur les tombes des soldats du 8th Para Bn au cimetière.
19h00 : Dépôt de gerbes au monument aux morts et à la plaque du 3rd Para Sqn RE. Vin d'honneur.

Tuesday 5th June

9.30 : Rememberance Service and wreaths laying at the 3rd Para Brig. and 1st Canadian Para memorial. Comemoration of the 70th aniversary of the cration of the 3rd Para Brig. and 8th and 9th Para Bn and 1st Canadian Para.

Ranville - Mémorial Pegasus
10h30 : Unveiling of the bust of Lt-General Sir Michael Gray, founderof the Benouville Museum and chairman of the Airborne Assault Trust, passed away last year.

10h45 : Wreaths Laying at the statue of Brigadier James Hill. Comemoration of the 70th aniversary of the cration of the 3rd Para Brig. and 8th and 9th Para Bn and 1st Canadian Para.
11h00 : Planes flying over Pegasus Bridge

Sannerville
12h00 : Barbecue.
14h00 : Concert by the West Yorkshire Police Band.

Saint-Vaast en Auge
15h30 : Service at the church by the Army Air Corps followed by a ceremony at the cemetery on the graves of soldiers from the 3rd parachute Brigade. Vin d'honneur.

Troarn
18h30 : Wreaths laying on the graves of the soldiers from the 8th Para Bn at the cemetery.
19h00 : Wreath laying at the war memorial and the 3rd Para Sqn RE plaque. Vin d'honneur.

10h00 : Rememberance Service and wreaths laying at the Goodwood memorial of the 3rd Inf. Div., with representatives of the 3rd UK Division HQ. Vin d'honneur.
11h15 : Wreaths laying at the Royal Marines Commandos memorial at the Maizeret.

Beuzeville
11h00 : Réception à la mairie et mot d'accueil par monsieur le Maire.
12h00 : Cérémonies au monument aux morts et sur les tombes des soldats au cimetière avec la participation d'une délégation militaire des parachutistes du génie britannique. Vin d'honneur et repas.

Friday 8th June

Beuzeville
11h00 : Réception at the town hall by the mayor.
12h00 : Wreaths layings at the war memorial and on the graves of the soldiers at the cemetery, with representatives of the Royal Engineers of the Parachute Regt. Vin d'honneur and meal.

bonjours , je recherche un militaire qui fait partie de la army air corps , il était présent lors de la messe de 11 heures a Ranville ! Si quelqu'un peu me donner des informations sur les soldats présents se jours la , sa m'aiderai énormément !! merci d'avance !
